I wish that there was a socially acceptable way to say, “I’m having a bad mental health day and need you to pay attention to me,” without alienating everyone.
moon won't know and the moon won't care
“Goofy Mood”
silena beauregard ( meghann fahy ) ♥ “I’ll show them ‘love is worthless,’” Silena Beauregard grumbled as she strapped on her armor. “I’ll pulverize them!”
Andie does the best fancasts and graphics. <3
(Because “Master of what?” sounds less grammatically awkward?)

I’m not gonna claim it’s the thing, because even for me it’s not always that. But here’s a thing: can be downright impossible to name and explain the things that make you anxious. And sometimes the tiniest fucking thing can make you anxious.
In this non-traditional cyberpunk romance, Lauren contracts a computer virus that causes machines she’s interfaced with to gain sentience. As her job requires her to put down rogue AIs, she’s left with a moral conundrum. But if she quits her job, will her friends-with-benefits and coworker Marie leave her? And what will happen if she admits that she actually loves Marie? For those who don’t know, I’m serializing one of my novels on JukePop Serials! And after far too long, I’ve finally updated. (Curse illness and vacations. No wait, don’t curse vacations.)
If you’re not already familiar with Synchronicity and are looking for an LGBT novel that has a transgender protagonist whose gender isn’t a plot point, it might be up your alley. And if you’re looking for transhumanist and machine empathy quandaries, it’s got plenty of those as well.
And the best part is that it’s absolutely free to read. You do need to register an account with JukePop in order to read past the first chapter, but it’s a pretty painless process.

I expect no notes.
pretty much always
I go back and forth. Either I’m insecure and can’t write, confident and can write, or insecure after I have already written.
There’s also “God, I can write far better crap than I’m producing right now, why aren’t I?” It’s insecurity and ego all at once.
That last one speaks to me.
